Information and Data Accuracy

The algorithms and data sources used to provide information on this webpage and the calendar subscriptions provide accuacy within minutes. This is an intentional trade-off to limit processing time and CPU load on the hosting infrastructure.
For most civil applications, this should be good enough. Specifically, the algorithm used to calculate ΔT (delta-T) is a rough extrapolation and does not reflect earth's rotation accurately. However, this is reviewed periodically and adjusted if required.
